Although we may be fully independent and privately-owned, we are still able to provide our customers with the full range of top-quality optical services, from essential eye examinations and care, to sourcing some of the most exciting and refreshingly different frames.

This includes eye health and vision impairment issues. Our optometrists are trained to advise on all the common problems, such as a red eye, swollen lids, eye infections or tired and painful eyes. They are also experienced in dealing with many of the more unusual symptoms, such as flashes of light or “floaters” in your vision.

This is all part of our service, and often helps to provide a more convenient and better level of eye healthcare than visiting your GP practice. Those who live in Wales or have a Welsh GP can also take advantage of the Welsh Eye Care Scheme (WECS), and we will be happy to advise about this.

Other services in our range include advising on the supply and fitting of contact lenses, Myopia control, assessments on the need for colour overlays (sometimes associated with dyslexia), dry eye problems, and the benefits of varifocal or industrial lenses.
