Graduating with a degree in Optometry from Cardiff University in 2019, Dan has since specialised in areas such as Medical Retina and Glaucoma, earning professional certificates in both fields. Currently, he is working towards a Diploma in Therapeutics and a Professional Certificate in Low Vision.

Passionate about providing comprehensive eye care, Dan is dedicated to staying at the forefront of optometric advancements to ensure the best outcomes for his patients.

Originally from sunny Pembrokeshire, Dan is fluent in Welsh and enjoys incorporating the language into his consultations. In his spare time, he enjoys carpentry and watching rugby.

Absolutely first class service from Jackson & Gill. Went in as an emergency appointment as I was concerned I had a detached retina, after hitting myself in the eye and suddenly getting my first “floater”. The optometrist was incredibly thorough and conscientious and had an incredible array of high-tech equipment that she used during the examination. Luckily I was fine, but she pointed out a few other non-urgent things that will need checking once I am back home.
